In terms of dial design, the all-new Aqua Terra 30mm ladies' watch demonstrates an equally meticulous attention to detail. Compared to the 34mm version, its most significant change is the complete replacement of the "broad arrow" hands—a long-standing Aqua Terra signature—with the particularly charming "Dauphine" hands. Furthermore, the perfect harmony between the 11 luminous hour markers (shaped like sailboat hulls) and the circular date window at the 6 o'clock position imbues this timepiece with a touch of feminine elegance alongside its inherent allure; notably, both the hour markers and hands are crafted from white 18K gold. For those ladies who may feel that the standard configuration lacks sufficient luxury, Omega has thoughtfully provided a range of optional upgrades, including diamond-set bezels, diamond hour markers, and mother-of-pearl dials, Omega Seamaster clone watches.
Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the greatest highlight of the new Aqua Terra 30mm ladies' watch undoubtedly lies in its movement. It is worth noting that while 30mm timepieces are ubiquitous in the world of ladies' watches, 30mm *automatic mechanical* models are a far rarer breed—particularly those utilizing in-house movements. Currently, only Omega and Rolex offer automatic mechanical watches sized at 30mm or smaller, a scarcity driven by the prohibitively high costs associated with developing small-scale automatic movements for women's timepieces. To perfectly capture the slender, refined proportions characteristic of a ladies' watch, Omega undertook the extraordinary effort of developing two entirely new Master Chronometer movements—the Calibers 8750 and 8751—specifically for this collection.
Both movements share a diameter of 20mm, though they differ slightly in thickness. The Caliber 8750—found in the stainless steel and bi-metal models—measures 3.98mm in thickness, whereas the Caliber 8751—fitted in the solid gold models—measures 4.08mm due to the slightly greater thickness of its gold rotor. As successors to the Calibers 8520 and 8521, these new movements not only retain all the technical advantages of Omega's Master Chronometer movements but also incorporate significant refinements in their details—such as the adoption of a single-arm balance bridge and the latest spline-head screws for securing the rotor—thereby enabling the new movements to achieve a more compact overall profile. In short, the all-new Aqua Terra 30mm ladies' watch—in terms of both its exterior aesthetics and its inner mechanics—is poised to play a pivotal role in the future market for women's timepieces.
